Benefits of a trap bar
One of the most common trap/hex bar exercises is the deadlift. Shrugs and Farmers Walks are also a great way to use this special barbell. The major difference when you perform a hex bar deadlift to a conventional is: the centre of gravity, as that you’ll be standing literally in the bar rather than behind it. With a total of 160cm in length, it’s ideal for smaller training spaces like basements or garages, while it's still long enough to be placed on a rack. Will recommend
it makes it easier to perform heavy deatlifts engaging more the upper chest, the upper traps and the rear delts. Less slippery in the hands and no sticking point below the knees. Easier to lift without an explosive start off the ground. Good for athletes with longer hip bones.
