Riot GHD V2 – Commercial Glute Ham Developer
Pairs well with:
The Riot GHD V2 is our commercial-grade glute-ham developer, built heavy, adjustable in every direction, and dialled in to fit athletes from 1.60m all the way up past 1.95m. If your gym runs glute-ham raises, back extensions, hyperextensions and ab work as a daily staple, this is the machine that's built to take that volume easily.
Comfort where it counts. The half-moon pads sit with a proper gap between them so your hips move freely through the full range of motion, and an additional knee pad sits just in front of them — tilt it out of the way with its mag pins and a small integrated step makes getting on and off the machine easy, even mid-workout. The knurled handles at the rear give you a secure grip for mounting up and getting into position.
Dialled in for every body. The rail system adjusts the machine's length with a simple pin, the leg rollers adjust in height individually, and the footplate tilts ±20° for different exercise variations. The distance from footplate to knee pad runs from 19cm at the smallest setting all the way to 49cm at the tallest — that range is what lets the same machine work properly for a 1.60m athlete and a 1.95m+ athlete without anyone compromising their form. The hip pad angle adjusts too, with 3 gear positions across a ±40° range, so you can dial in the right position for glute-ham raises, hyperextensions, or ab crunches.
Band training built in. There are peg holes at the front of the machine and at the base of the feet, so you can rig up resistance bands for accommodating resistance or assisted variations without needing separate attachments.
Heavy-duty by design. The frame is built from 75mm square tube with a 3mm wall thickness — genuinely commercial-grade steel, rated to a 500kg maximum load. At 110kg, it's not lightweight, but wheels at the front and a knurled carry handle at the back mean two people (or one determined one) can still reposition it around the gym floor.

FAQ
What exercises can I do on the Riot GHD V2?
Glute-ham raises, back extensions/hyperextensions, and ab crunches are all possible on the same machine — the footplate angle, hip pad angle and pad positions adjust to suit each movement.
I'm quite short / quite tall — will this actually fit me?
It's tested for athletes from 1.60m up to 1.95m and taller. The footplate-to-knee-pad distance adjusts from 19cm at its shortest to 49cm at its tallest, plus individually adjustable leg rollers and a tilting footplate, so you're not stuck with a one-size-fits-most setup.
What's the extra pad in front of the half-moon pads for?
That's an additional knee pad. Tilt it out of the way using its mag pins and a small integrated step is reachable, giving you an easy, stable way to get on and off the machine — useful mid-session when you're moving in and out repeatedly.
Can I train with resistance bands on this?
Yes — there are peg holes both at the front of the machine and at the base of the feet, so you can anchor bands for accommodating resistance or assistance depending on the variation you're training.
How much weight can it handle, and how heavy is the machine itself?
The frame is rated to a 500kg maximum load, built from 75mm square steel tube with a 3mm wall thickness. The machine itself weighs 110kg — solid and stable in use, and movable around the gym floor thanks to the front wheels and rear knurled handle.
Is this suitable for a commercial gym, or just home use?
It's built as a commercial-grade machine — the frame gauge, load rating and adjustability are designed for daily use across a range of athletes, so it works equally well as the GHD in a busy gym or as a serious piece of kit in a home setup.
