Pleasently surprised about the quality. Bar seems to be quite well balanced, at least the one I got is pretty decent. Sleeves are a bit on the short side if you only got bumper plates like I do, but i think that should be expected at this price point. Fully loaded longer sleeves would put a lot more stress on the connection points. Main thing I'd like to see would be higher quality handles, the supplied ones are adequate, but I'd happily purchase an upgrade, if there were such an option.

Die Stange an sich ist genau was sie verspricht. Die Rändelung der Griffe ist super, die Pulverbeschichtung sieht gut aus (mit ein/ zwei Ausnahmen). Der Aufbau ist auch problemlos. An der Verpackung gibt es meiner Meinung nach noch Verbesserungspotential! Durch das hohe Gewicht rutscht die Stange im Karton viel hin und her und die Füße haben dabei wohl mal den Karton durchschlagen. An den Stellen ist dann dementsprechend die Beschichtung etwas in Mitleidenschaft gezogen worden. Des weitern hätte es mich gefreut, wenn die Stange tatsächlich auch 20kg hätte, wie normale Langhanteln auch. Ich werde das wohl über zwei 1kg Scheiben, welche dann dauerhaft drauf wohnen, beheben, aber schön wäre es natürlich gewesen. An sonsten bin ich top zufrieden und würde das Geld auch jederzeit wieder für sie ausgeben 👍🏼

Amazing piece of equipment at a very fair price. It's a truly versatile bar, great for deadlifts, bent over row, shrugs, lunges and farmer walks. Quality is on point as always with Strength Shop products. I absolutely love it and I'm very happy with my purchase.
First thougth it to bee a bit too wibly (since the sleeves were to be bolted on), but really like it in use. Very durable for its own weight.
The barbell is really good. Everything works flawlessly. The balance is at a very high level. The only thing I would expect is an option regarding the handle thickness — ideally, the set should include two pairs of handles: thick and thin ones.
Great bar. Not too long nor heavy. Nice grips. Almost perfectly balanced front to back. Fits in racks for shrugs etc.

This bar is great. Well priced, sturdy, easy to assemble and nicely designed. The product itself is 5 stars for me and like usual with Strength Shop, you cannot beat the value for money here. I removed one star because I think the packaging for shipment needs to improve for courier handling. On arrival, the feet of the jack lost paint and there was some damage to the sleeves. I think this could have been prevented with some extra guarding/padding around the jack feet and possibly the sleeves.

The open trap bar is great. I've had it for a few weeks now a there are a few details that need to be noted. The bar is rackable which is a plus in my books but as a result the handles are also a bit further apart than on a standard trap bar which makes the exercises a bit different (I also use it for OHP). The two different diameters used for the handle are a nice touch if you need them but I would have preferred standard diameter for both pairs. Lastly the little plastic rings that prevent the plates from hitting metal on the loading sides are a bit flimsy and tend to slide around nothing that a drop of glue can't fix I guess. All around nice bar also I'm still struggling to find the balancing point in which I should grab the bar. I'm sure it will come with time !

High Quality, great price, will last forever! Very pleased with the Strength Shop Open Trap Bar. It arrived quickly and well packaged. I chose this one over other brands due to the build quality, price and extra exercises that can be performed on this one over other brands. You need to see this bar up close to understand just how good the quality of the materials used are and how solid the welding is. The knurled grip on the handles is just right and you have the option of two grip sizes to choose from. Love the built in jack stands, they save so much time and make it safer to load/unload the bar. The bar feels so balanced to me when attempting to lift. Deadlifts have honestly never felt so good to me. It is far more comfortable to deadlift with this bar than my straight bar. Now I use this bar ALL my back pain has gone during deadlifts. I can use it for deadlifts, shrugs, rows etc. I am lifting more weight because of this bar and it feels more comfortable. Definitely looking at purchasing more items from strength shop. Also a big thank you to customer services especially Reece for helping me out. They went totally out of their way to make sure I was satisfied with everything after I encountered a minor issue. I can highly recommend purchasing this bar.
Very versatile bar First off, ordered at lunch time and it was here the following day before lunch, standard delivery. Nothing standard about that! Its a very versatile and solid bit of kit for a home gym. Shrugs, rows, farmers, drag curls, lunges, hammer curls to name but a few. The choice of handles is a nice touch as is the built in jack that makes it easy to load and store. I can not speak of the durability yet as not had it long, but at this early stage it feels well worth the money to me!
Awesome quality, great price
Excellent Trap Bar Easy to load plates on as the bar sits on its stand. The plates slide on smoothly on the hardened chrome. Easy to sit the bar on its stand because of the leverage - even when loaded. I find that I can lift heavier with this bar. I found 120Kg x10rep was grip limit for me with the knurling and would recommend straps beyond that. The trap bar feels safer on my back, having injured myself 3 times deadlifting with a standard barbell. The low grip on this trap bar may be a good option if you want a safer squat and safer deadlift alternative. I am using the 28mm grip but I like the option of the 34mm grip which can be interchanged easily. The open aspect to the bar enables other exercises - check youtube. A highly recommend piece of kit for any gym. I wish I had bought one sooner.
