Für eine ideale Funktionsweise sollten die Zehen sich abspreizen können. In den meisten modernen Schuhen ist dies aufgrund der Passform und des relativ steifen Materials nicht möglich. Um die bestmögliche Basis fürs Kreuzheben zu schaffen, kann man entweder barfuß trainieren, oder man wählt speziell entwickelte Schuhe, die die Vorteile des Barfuß-Trainings mit hygienischen Eigenschaften und Support, wo es sinnvoll ist, kombinieren.

Der Notorious Lift Sumo Sole Gen 3 Lilac ist die Innovation, um das Deadlift Set-Up zu optimieren. Ideal auch für diejenigen, die einfach einen minimalistischen, flachen Trainingsschuh bevorzugen, der auch noch leicht in jeder Sporttasche zu verstauen ist.

Aggressives Anti Rutsch-Profil 

Die breite Zehenbox und das dehnbare, weiche Material lassen den Zehen Bewegungsfreiheit, können Hallux valgus/Ballenzeh vorbeugen und kräftigen die Füße langfristig. Hinten hat der SSG3 eine verstärkte Fersenkappe und ein bequemes, gepolstertes Fersenfutter, das für zusätzlichen Komfort und Support sorgt. Zwei Klettverschlüsse sorgen dafür, dass sich der Schuh passgenau um den Mittelfuß legt. 

Die ultradünne Cup-Sohle mit bewährtem Fischgrätenprofil und sehr aggressiver Bodenhaftung sorgt für maximale Stabilität und optimale Kraftübertragung. Die Cup-Sohle hat nahezu keine Zehenfederung für eine natürliche, flache Auflage zwischen Zehen und Boden.

Not just for deadlift but these shoes are AMAZING for bench press too! I'm a state record holder for bench and I drive so hard with my feet I have issues with slippage or butt lift. Those shoes are non slip and nice and flat so I don't leave the bench! For deadlift the front of the shoes are really wide, like you can wear thick socks wide. I never was able to spread my toes before in a shoe and deadlifts for reps over 300lb went extraordinarily smoothly! Very good balance. Lastly there is some arch support so you can walk around during your powerlifting meet from bench until the last deadlift and feet will be plenty comfortable. I've tried the rest, THESE ARE THE BEST!

They are comfortable and also wide, and my usual size fits great (if you want a snugger fit, I would advise going a size down). The sole feels solid, great for a sumo stance. Big thanks to customer support too, they were quick to help when I had a delivery issue.

So far so good I cannot comment on wear as I have only used them a few times. Quality is very good & a very snug fit (which is what I wanted & need). I have a high instep so not the easiest to slip into so invested in a shoe horn. That aside they are very comfortable & offer excellent grip. I wanted a shoe that allowed to me to continue with the conventional deadlift as well as experimenting with the Sumo variant which this shoe does. Don't know if I will be able to come back in 6 months to a year & edit to update on durability & if they are still as comfortable hence only 4 stars. If they are I would up rating to 5 stars.

Great shoe but size up! These shoes are excellent for sumo deadlifting, however be warned the UK sizing doesn't match your typical European sizing e.g. UK6 would usually be size 39, not 38. I actually settled with a more roomy EU size 40 after two returns as with sumo deadlift you want to splay your toes slightly. Great shoe though!

I have had trouble with performing well in my equipped benchpress sessions due to feet slipping, causing me to lose my arch and torso position. These shoes have such great soles, my leg drive improved dramatically. In fact, while attempting a 290kg equipped bench after getting these, my leg drive was so solid my ACL tore right the fuck off. I rate these shoes 10/10.
