Durch den Einsatz von robustem Nylongewebe und den Verzicht auf Ketten ist der neue Dip-Gürtel um einiges leichter als unser klassisches Modell und das bei höherer Strapazierfähigkeit.
Produziert mit 8mm starken Ösen mit extra großem Durchmesser und extrem widerstandsfähigen Nylon, ist er gemacht für Profiathleten, die an Grenzen gehen.

Die Schlaufe ist beladbar mit Gewichtsscheiben, Kettlebells oder Kurzhanteln. Das Nylon sorgt dafür, dass nichts verkratzt oder anderweilige Schäden, zum Beispiel Absplitterungen am Material entstehen.

Das Zwei-Ösen-System ist dabei einzigartig: Das Einfädeln der Schlaufe durch die zweite Öse ermöglicht das Herstellen eines soliden Schwerpunkts des Zusatzgewichts. Dabei ist ein passgenauer Sitz garantiert.
Andere Dip-Gürtel forcieren den unteren Rücken zu einer Hohlkreuzbildung, um ein Rutschen des Gürtels zu verhindern. Das Design des Strengthshop Gürtels hingegen ermöglicht eine neutrale Haltung der Wirbelsäule ohne die Passgenauigkeit zu verlieren.

Der Dip-Gürtel ist äußerst robust. Sein breiter Gurt aus strapazierfähigem Nylon macht das Tragen des Gürtels auch bei schwerer Beladung bequem.

Mit Zusatzgewicht ausgeführte Dips sind eine großartige Übung, um den Oberkörper intensiv zu trainieren und um an Masse und Kraft im gesamten Brust-Schulter-Arm Bereich zuzulegen.
Sie zielen auf ansonsten vernachlässigte Muskelgruppen ab, steigern Maximalkraft in Drückbewegungen und Mobilität im Schultergürtel.
Deshalb sind schwere Dips eine beliebte und wertvolle Übung und Assistenzübung, nicht nur für Bodyweight-Athleten, sondern auch für Gewichtheber und Powerlifter.

Solid weight belt for any movement you usually use one for. I use it for pull ups but I see no reason why it wouldn't work the exact same for dips with some more weight on; the nylon strap this thing has in lieu of the chain is extremely solid (and silent, which can be a plus) and its habit of catching the edge of the carabiner is completely mitigated by the fact you can just keep the carabiner on the strap end permanently, sliding it together with the strap into the (olympic/50 mm) weight holes. On that topic, I think you might get this belt to work with "standard plates" (25/28 mm hole) but the strap is close to 5 cm wide and it is clearly not explicitly meant for that. As for size, on a 184 cm man with somewhat narrow waist I route the strap from one end to the belt into the opposite side, then down into the plates, then up and hook it to the originating side. This has the plates hanging comfortably at knee level. If you are larger or very tall you can skip the routing part and just pass it through the plates hooking at the opposite end; if you are smaller or very short you can loop a couple of times to reduce the hanging length. The belt itself should fit snugly on just about anyone but the smallest women.

Solid belt, my gym has loaner one which seems to have stood up well to years of use (with the exception of the carabiner). I like the nylon strap and the closure method. I think it would be ideal if it had a “daisy chain” style strap so that length is customisable too

Works as advertised. The strap is basically as wide as an olympic plate hole and rubs a bit while fitting plates, but it does not seem to cause issues and it is gentler on plates than a chain. The belt itself is comfortable and fits fine on me (1.84 m man) with a pair of cast iron 10 kg plates at mid-thigh with the strap going through both buckles before coming back up.

Great belt I purchased this belt with my only previous experience being the standard chain belts, this belt works so much better and is built really well. My main training is weighted calisthenics so I looked at this one and the slightly more expensive version from gravity fitness but determined this one better as the reviews on the other comment on the small clips used etc. The design allows self tightening but still remaining comfortable due to the nice firm padding around the waist. So far I've used mainly on weighted dips and pull ups, using a variety of weights such as plates and kettlebells, it's been able to hold them all. The materials along with metal pieces are high quality and sturdy. Particularly the metal loops and clip are heavy duty and seem like they are designed to hold alot of weight - overall very impressed and would highly recommend. Well done strength shop.
